Reply from edshortt on Mar 3 at 10:16 AM Hello Carmen, You will not find a time/effort estimate for configuration of a pricing procedure. Let me give you an example why: If you will only do US taxes and standard SAP pricing, there is no time (it already exist in standard SAP) .. Now if you want to add special surcharges and discounts then it may take 10 minutes to create with reference and then add your new discount/surcharge conditions in the right place. If now you need let's say, Variant configuration pricing and rebates, that will probably take another 20 minutes. If now you want special (not standard) calculations then you may need to create VOFM formulas with code in ABAP, that will take a developer key and maybe 10 more minutes So average is between 10 minutes and 2 hours depending on the number of conditions, scenarios/requirements and how much standard SAP you are willing to apply without change. With that said, do not underestimate the days it may take to unit test multiple scenarios like pricing on sales order, volume pricing, return credits, inter company pricing, re-pricing, etc. Hope that helps

What is the work effort for the functional developer, configuration time needed? For instance: how long to set up a pricing procedure? I am looking for a document that would cover rule of thumb to complete configuration work related to SD pricing. Thank you. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
