As I said, I was under the (false) impression that datafiles were being added automatically to the other tablespaces, but it turns out, they were added when the database was upgraded.
I think I will shift my focus on determining what the optimum size of the PSAPUNDO tablespace is, and then add datafiles accordingly.
If you can shed any light on the best way to "size" the PSAPUNDO tablespace, I'm all ears. Otherwise, thanks again for your help. I appreciate your quick response.

There's ASM but that's a bigger topic than simply adding/growing a data file. I can't help you much with ASM.
