Try report -
RC1_IDOC_SET_STATUS .
You set idoc status to any value you need - e.g. 53 - document posted, or 73 - idoc archived etc. - without real processing of relevant idoc.
Or create own custom prg. And use FM IDOC_STATUS_WRITE_TO_DATABASE.

Recently we faced an issued wherein Old IDOCs (ADRMAS) were processed accidently leading to data inconsistency.
Apart from Archiving the Old IDOCs, is there any other control which we can establish to avoid such accidents (manual errors).
