Question from eswarsaphcm on Dec 16 at 6:36 AM
Dear Experts,

I have the following requirement from my client:
For every 11 working days, 1 day privilege leave should get credit. 11 working days means, it includes Second saturday/sunday/holidays and Casual Leave. If employee avail any leave other than Casual Leave in between 11 days, then those days to be reduced for counting for 11 working days.

For the present calendar year working days, the privilege leave to be calculated and quota to be generated on 1st of January of next calendar year. i.e., from 01-01-2015 to 31-12-2015, the quota should get generate on 1-1-2016.

For new joiners:
Quota credit conditions are as above. However, the new joiners will get the eligibility to apply the PL only after completion of 11 months service. After 11 months, the new joiners are eligible to avail the PL even though quota credit happens on 1st Jan.
Eg:

1)
Employee joins on 5-1-2015
11 months completion: 5-12-2015
So, new joiners may apply for PL after 5-12-2015 and use what are the eligible leaves they have as on that date (for every 11 days, 1 day PL leave). The number of leaves what they are availing now, will be deducted from the quota once it get generates in next calendar year i.e., 1st January 2016

Could you please suggest the relevant PCRs.

Thanks and regards,
Eshwar K
