Reply from tomevans866 on Dec 30 at 10:05 AM Pelle, For your change from already called (at 80%) to 96% still to occur, to the best of my knowledge, there will be no change to the existing Work Orders and the system will not generate new WOs when the new call horizon (96%) passes. You would get no new WOs for the next 12 weeks (16% of 75 week cycle). I think your thought about deleting the WOs will work. Cancelling is a safer method and easier. Deleting (archiving) could cause an unexpected result. Test it. Set up cases in a test system with, for example, a 5 hour or 10 hour cycle. Counter based plans could also be used to test as fast or slowly as you want. Tom

I want to change the call horizon for re occuring tasks since its a bit to long "heads-up" du to a to low call horizon. The cycle is 75 weeks and had 80% call horizon. i want it changed to 96%. This is a bit of a special case, there are 150 individual plans that is practicly the same in our system, but it points to an individual unit that has a modular maintenance so there are long cycles but 2 workordes (AC01) generated each weak, And the system generats an (AC04) refurbish workorder for each of those AC01. think that this is a special feature in our system. My question is if i change the call horoizon for a plan that have been generated by the system today (with 80% call horizon) to 96% instead (that call horizon havent occured yet). Will the system generate a new AC01 and AC04 when call horizon is passed ? On the other hand. If i delete the existing AC01 and AC04 that been created with 80% call horizon. Will the system generate the same workorders ones again since they dont exist in the system. Or will it wait until the call horizon of the next cycle occurs ? Thanks . //Pelle | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community. Start today. _.____.__ |
