SAP allows different Planner Groups on the Maint Items (and Work Orders). I have used this flexibility to group work to different planners for the same equipment. Thus, while it defaults when creating a Maint. Item, it would not inherit a change. Tom

There is a large number of existing Floc's (+9,000). We now have to redistribute a large number of these Floc's from one planner group to another. We will most likely use an LSMW to achieve that change. During some testing we found that even though we updated the planner group of the Floc the change does not filter through to change the individual maintenance items that have been set up for that Floc. Does anyone know of a way to initiate an inheritance that could possibly update the maintenance items. This would save a lot of manual updates! | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
