"The system changes the moving average price with each valuation-relevant movement" (161 belongs to these types).
The logic:
MvT 101 6 pc. x 2 eur = 12 eur
MvT 101 4 pc. x 4 eur = 16 eur
Av.Pr. (12 eur + 16 eur) / (6 pc.+ 4 pc.) = 2,8 eur
MvT 161 4 pc. x 4 eur = 16 eur
Av.Pr. 12 eur eur / 6 pc. = 2 eur

Hi MM Experts,
Is it correct that when doing a vendor return and shipping the goods back to the vendor using movement type 161 that the moving average price is also then affected? I understand how the system calculates the moving average during receiving but why is the price affected when returning goods to vendor? This makes no sense to me. If this behavior is wrong then can someone give me pointers about to change this.
