Also, you can also check the logs for the following three files, which will give a clear idea on the related issue;
i) dev_disp in (\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS<instance no.>\work)
ii) dev_ms in (\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS<instance no.>\work)
iii) sapstart in (C:\Program Files\SAP\hostctrl\work)
iv) sapstartsrv in (C:\Program Files\SAP\hostctrl\work)

Dear all,
I need help on an issue. I have new installation of SAP BW (Netweaver 7.4) on Hana 1.0 rev 110. Everything went fine and during installation there was an RFC error for which i had to start SAP Instance to change DDIC password and execute some reports. But the SAP instance never came up. Though with startsap I don't see any error and everything is fine with no error.
R3trans -d shows perfect connectivity with database as well. I felt that the dispatcher is down.
Could anybody advise me few things which i could look into and find out a solution for that?
