Reply from BLEUNG on Nov 25 at 8:50 AM If you don't use print server to handling printing and you use sap to spool the job and send to network printer, then you have 2 methods to do it, 1. use access method U, which you did it . Another method is - use access method L which is lpd/lpr method. Then each network printer you have to define it in your sap system and then use yast in linux and define each printer.
If your company is a small company and frontend printing is not an issues, then you know you have only couple printer type and model, then I think define couple frontend printer queue would be easy for you. So, each printer type/model you use their printer device type and give a unique printer name, then for user who wants to print to that specific network printer, the user on the workstation install the printer and set it as default printer. So, the user can send the job from sap using the printer you defined which match to that network printer type and model, the job should go from sap to workstation default queue then delivery to the network printer. This case, you have match printer device type in sap to the physical network printer. model which you mentioned in your 1st issues which it was resolved. Good Luck!

Hello to All,
I have some users on Linux-Mint.I installed Java GUI-7.2.Now when user gives print of any document or report through SAP,.It print with some disturbed value with improper alignment.
When we gave same transactions with Windows environment,it prints perfectly fine.
So please suggest me it has problem with some some JAVA-GUI environment /page format or some thing else..??
Please guide me...!!
