As mentioned in the above reply please check the settings in SAPConnect (transaction SCOT).
Under INT --> SMTP (double-click)
There should be 'Supported address types 'Internet' and there the 'Address area' should fall within the users Email address.
Check it out.

Subject: SOST Entry Not Getting Generated With a Specific User
Hi All
We have a PO Upload program and in the end it generates an email which POs were created. If I am running the program with my user ID it is generating the SOST entry, however a specific user which is used for all background job scheduling is not triggering the SOST entry.
I got this checked by SECURITY and they have included all authorization objects which are attached to my user ID.
However no success, any ideas what might be the issue?
