Reply from Ron Roberts on Sep 1 at 2:07 PM In the asset master, under Time-dependent tab, there is a box for Asset shutdown. By checking this box (and entering a time interval) you can stop the asset from having depreciation for the desired time interval (or permanently?)

How can I stop depreciation of a particular asset. The reason why I put a stop of the depreciation is that the asset I intended to depreciation for August has to be retired thru invoice before I dep run the August?
