Question from Marsha on Jul 16 at 4:29 PM We use derived roles and I know we have to keep ALL derived roles auth fields the same as the master. And we do. Only the org levels are different.
My question to all is - has anyone created a NEW derived role and generated JUST that new derived role and not generate ALL derived roles from the master role. Usually we copy an existing derived role (because all the auth fields are the same) and change the org levels - save the new derived role and go back to my master and mass generate. I would prefer to only push the master authorizations to my NEW role and not ALL derived roles.
If there is a better procedure, I'd love to hear it.
