I totally agree with JG. During hiring of a new employee, there are a lot
of infotypes that are added (0014 and 0015) in addition to Basic pay, all
these are configured in an action type "hiring New employee" allowing the
user to select the relevant infotypes for the employee (depending on the
Personal area and/or Employee Subgroup) and once the hiring is complete,
the organizational assignment data is also updated accordingly, by the
system.

LSMW is used for loading employees' data during implementation or to extend implementation to new units of an organization.
It is not used for regular hiring of one/more employees.
It is also used after implementation, in cases like mass upload of certain infotypes like IT 8 during salary changes (for Enterprise Bargaining Agreement), etc. |
