Subject: Low Hit Ratio In Buffer OTR and Export/Import

Hi,

In transaction st02 I can see the hit ratio of differents buffers.
All buffers have around 100% of hit ratio and no swaps, except buffers OTR, Export/import and Exp./Imp.SHM
that have low hit ratio.

Buffer HitRatio % Alloc. KB Freesp. KB % Free Sp. Dir. Size FreeDirEnt % Free Dir Swaps

OTR 64,47 4.096 2.502 86,37 3.000 2.066 68,87 0
Export/import 72,38 80.000 21.003 31,23 32.000 13.360 41,75 0
Exp./ Imp. SHM 92,20 20.000 15.738 98,29 10.000 9.999 99,99 0

One week ago the buffer OTR had 98% of hit ratio but now has this value.
Anyone knows why this buffer has decremented its value of hit ratio? Anyone knows the reason?
This buffer should have the hit ratio around 100 % as the other buffers?

Why buffers Export/import and Exp./ Imp. SHM have low hit ratio than other buffers?

The system is active since 11.02.2015 (last startup)

Thanks!!
