I think this transaction is not what I?m looking for. Maybe SAP has to reconsider ask for material and serial number in a mandatory way in IE4N transaction.

Hi there, I would like to know, if it is possible to SWAP equipments (IE4N Transaction) from one functional location to another. The equipment does not have serial number. Is it possible? or I should create a serial number for this equipment as pre-requisit?
