Thank you for your response. The objective is to utilize the pay scale reclassification program 'RPIPSR00' for automatic rate of pay progression. Your proposed solution does not address my issue of defaulting the rate of pay from the pay scale structure.

I have setup pay scale structures in T510 and attached appropriate structure to planned compensation IT1005 on the job. When creating an IT8 record, the pay scale type, area, group, level and hourly rate of pay automatically populate as expected. However, the hourly rate of pay amount is incorrect; it is not defaulting the correct rate of pay from the pay scale structure. Period work hours on IT8 are correct (40 - weekly pay frequency), the employment %, daily, weekly, monthly annually working hours are all correct on IT7. The wage type characteristics for the hourly rate of pay wage type is set to TARIF for indirect evaluation model with a module variant of 'B'
Can anyone tell me why the rate of pay on IT 8 is not defaulting with the correct rate of pay amount?
