Hi Geetha,

I doubt this suggestion will solve your problem. Implementing the
changes will make the field mandatory for all new users and when they
are changed.

It will not solve the problem for pre existing users without a user
group defined. You will need to update all existing user with a blank
user group using an automated tool such as a CAAT.

Please follow the below steps to make the User Group Mandatory, *This will
prevent the creation of users with no user group assigned, it would assign
" User Group "Default " *

*Check if you have already implemented the Note: 1663177*

Just one line would is to be added to table USR_CUST:

Name = USER_GRP_REQUIRED

Field attributes = DUMMY

Text = Default user group; due to this, the user group becomes a required
entry field (Note 1663177)
