It sounds like you want PP functionality without any PP, but nothing comes from nothing. PP does not need to be complex and there should be no reason to be afraid.?
Planned orders generate dependent requirements which are essentially the same as reservations and if you implement a bit of repetitive manufacturing you can do goods movements against them too. A full PP implementation has much to offer too.

My client is working without SAP-PP. I'm creating a sales order (MTO) and run MD50. The system displays the BoM components as a stock for stock materials and purchase requisition for non stock materials. Is there any possibility that the system makes an automatic reservation for the components of the stock materials according to the planned order without converting into a production order?
