Hi All,

Age is no bar for switching your career to SAP. but at this age, you have
to start as a fresher with base salary structure and it would be difficult
to get a job also even after certification, so better to opt for career in
other technologies than SAP. Now a days market is not favorable for SAP as
well.

Most of the companies over hire the people and put them into bench and if
they do not find any projects in few months they kick them out so better
keep all these factors in mind before talking any step further.

My points seems to be negative to you but i wrote what i experienced, I
have also switched my career from sales to SAP and seeing these things
happening on regular basis.

All the best.

Regards,
Niraj

Age has no bearing with when you want to change. People have changed at over 50 to SAP.
As Ravi said, you need to be clear about what you want.
If you want to be a functional consultant, it would be good to have a good knowledge and experience in the relevant field. So SD or SCM would be suitable, I suppose.
