A. In dev/config client, with txn SM30 or 31, maintain the view, select the row you want; select delimit.
It displays a screen for start date to delimit; enter 01.01.2015.
It creates a new row for the key from this date.
Previously existing entry is split into 2 with one entry upto 31.12.2014 and a new one from 01.01.2015.
Change the details as you want from this date and save in a transport say xx1
B.If there is no entry for the previous period, then before doing the above step A,
-Navigate to compare;
-Select to compare with production client (or the client 000 in the dev system if you have access to it)
-It shows the table contents (in two lines) for both current system/client and the remote client being compared with
-Select option to show only differences. Check if the key has different data, incl start/end dates.
-For your relevant key, if there are differences, select to 'Adjust'. This will bring the details for the key from the remote client into the current table being maintained.
You may do this for any other key with differences.
-Save the changes in a transport say xx0
-If the compare client had data for periods other than what is in dev/config, now you should have data as in compare client.
Then do the step A.
C.In Dev system/test client:
With txn SCC1, copy the transports in the order XX0, XX1 to Dev test client.
Test the changes
After satisfying the changes are ok
D.Move the transports in the order XX0, XX1. to Test system
E.Test system/client: System test and UAT
F.Move transports to prod; repeat a test with 1 or 2 emp.

Provident Fund Charges have been revised from 1.10% to 0.85%.
Please do advice on what changes are required in system, as I did not find any note related to this.
