Reply from jyotikokate9 on Mar 24 at 9:22 AM EHP upgrade just does existing object modification or adding new objects in Database table. It does not upgrade database. You have to do Database upgrade before EHP upgrade if it as prerequisite. Or if your DB level is fine enough to do EHP upgrade, you can do DB upgrade later also.

Hi All,
We want to upgrade the ehp4 to ehp6 In the ecc system.
But there are 2 questions in my mind.
1. If you proceed the installation of ehp4 to ehp6 in ecc system its a complete upgrade.
2. if you proceed the installation till database installation step and provide the prd database (source DB ) details then the database will be upgraded to ehp 4. Can we later on upgrade the db level. once the system is running fine.
