Reply from giso_vonpetersdorff on Mar 17 at 5:56 AM Hello Alex, This does depend on what you want to achieve and what sort of data you want to base your forecast on. SAP does have consumption based forecasting which is done directly in MRP. Start by creating the forecast view on the material master and setting up the appropriate MRP type. Run the forecast from the material master first and test that the results are as desired. You can then run this as a background job too. This tool is not really designed for sales forecasting, but rather for raw materials and maintenance spares where the only knowledge you have of probable future usage is from past usage. Regards Giso

Until now, we had to transfer our forecast into demand management first. I am looking for a way to create forecast so it can be seen and considered by MRP immediately. Please let me know if it is possible. Thanks, Alex | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
