You can default the billing block defaulted in SALES order in ECC when
replicated. The billing block is replicated back to CRM.

You can also set billing block in CRM by status and use business
transaction "Set billing block"

3rd option is configure Action Definition with Schedule condition Status =
Open. You can set billing block

Thanks

Subject: How to Achieve Automatic Billing Block Sales Order CRM With Transaction Control?

In CRM we configured Order management. A sales order is created with a status open. When created the sales order is replicated to SAP ECC. As long as the sales order is not completed the sales order is not relevant for Billing yet. We therefore want a billing block set automatically when a sales is created. When completed the billing block can be removed.

As it should be possible to influence the business transactions using "Transaction Control" for each user status we tried to achieve this by associating a transaction control (set billing block) to status 'open'. When status completed we could then do the opposite assign transaction control 'remove billing block'. However, transaction control is not executed. No billing block is set.

Customizing details:
Transaction control: spro > img > crm > transactions > basic settings > status management > define status profile for user status
> double click status profile
> double click relevant status
> select new entries to associate a business transaction to the status
> under influence check 'allowed'
> under next action check 'set'

Does anyone faced the same problem that transaction control is not executed. Or does anyone have suggestions to achieve an automatic billing block in another way.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Thanks.
Harriët
