Very correctly and well said Ram, but Raja, what I have to say to you is,
don't join an authorized training center right away. You join a local
training center, because certification is not mandatory to join top MNCs.
You can get certified later also. What is important is your SAP knowledge.
They will charge around 25-30k. You can learn the basics and work on
standard order to cash cycle, procure to pay cycle, and by the time you
finish the training, you will have a fair idea about how SAP works and
how best you will be able to handle it. Live environment is totally
different than training environment. I am 38 now, started at the age of 35.
Worked for almost nothing for two years and now stabilized. I also had a
bit of luck. So everything depends on your hard work, perseverance, little
bit of luck.

But you can definitely join even at this age. You will not get somebody
half your age as Raja said but normally ABAP people will be around 22-24
years of age and functional people will be around 26-30+ years of age.
Don't worry about they being kids. They all know how difficult it is to
make a career.

It will set you back in terms of salary and seniority by 5-8 years and
probably a loan liability of 5-6 lacks. Further, you will be working with
kids half your age.

Rest depends on your skills and experience. Can you outshine the kids? If
yes, good for you. Else your colleagues in sales will be far ahead of you.
By the time you have 10 years of experience in SAP your colleagues in sales
will have 20. Good enough to be a CEO level.

Nobody in the forum can predict the future. It's your call and entirely your
risk. SAP has a good job market.

Good Luck!
