Confirmation parameters are set for a given Plant/Order Type using transaction OPK4. Among the parameters are an Underdelivery and an Overdelivery check.

You might try these. I'd recommend setting them to Warnings instead of Errors just to experiment.

If you really do have tolerances, they are set on the material master for the material/plant (work scheduling view). Otherwise, the tolerance is assumed to be zero. The material master tolerances prevent over/under delivery to stores (goods receipts), but I think you can block confirmations if the confirmation causes the limit to be exceeded.

The tolerances are copied into the production order (Goods Receipt tab). You can set them manually in the production order if you just want to experiment with them.

Upon entering manual confirmations quantities can SAP distinguish based on your routing if the quantity is higher than routing allows or deems possible by tolerance factors?
