Reply from ksolutions on Feb 20 at 11:58 AM Hello Mark, Thanks for your response. Can you please clarify the following. When you receive products, do they get stored in Bulk storage type? Or is this in addition to High Rack storage? Do you pick both Full Pallet and Full Case from Bulk? Does this not lead to partial Pallets remaining in Bulk? Do you only run fixed bin replenishment? Note: Our products are batch managed. We currently do not pick from High Racks. Only from the replenished Floor level Bins. I agree with you that strategy M: According to Qty might suit this requirement. Thanks, SK

In our scenario, we have set the fixed bin to use removal strategy M, which when used in conjunction with the Control Qty in the Material Master will pick any TO's with a qty higher than the Control Qty from the second Storage Type in the removal strategy; i.e. if the material control qty is 10, then if the TO qty is 9 then it will pick from fixed bin but if the TO qty is greater than 10, then it will pick from the second storage type (which is presumably your bulk area). Not sure if this is helpful or not, but I hope so. Regards, Mark | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
