I not agree.
The settlement does not affect the P/L.
because when you consume the Material/Service the respective G/L updates
their itself. and After settlement you Reporting at COST CENTRE will affect.
Hence settlement ( previous period ) will not affect the P/L G/L.
YES it affect the CO ( Cost centre ) reporting.

Dear guru's,
I have a question in my company PM order has been settled by the IW32 T-code internal settlement. But from 2012 Jan in account they are not doing settlement by the KO88 and KO8G. Now, I am doing the old settlement in same period like 2012 and 2013 by opening the period by the account consultant.
My question is while I settle these PM order, is there any effect on account (like the period is closed and also
the Fiscal year it can be possible or any effect to the account or profit center or any?
