1. Currently, our customer is using Legacy ERP to run their business and they have a plan to go for SAP implementation. So, in initial phase they are planning to implement EWM in their distribution centre and later planning to go for ECC implementation. Pre ECC implementation Legacy ERP
communicates EWM through custom interfaces.
so, when we go for ECC implementation, what would be the challenges and what are the parameters that we need to consider for transition phase?
Since, already EWM will be in place and will be running their business. Lot of master data and transaction data will be existing in EWM and Legacy ERP system.
Could you please share your expertise if you have seen it already these cases and please give your suggestion on this as well?
2. In the future, they are planning to implement 3PL facility to their distribution centre. What are the items that need to consider during the
implementation and now?
3. As we know that they are various picking technologies i.e. using barcode, RFID, voice picking and pick to light etc. Since, it is food industry, what is the best picking technology can be deployed in their distribution centre . what are the things need to consider to choose above picking technology.
Can you please help me on the above challenges?
