Reply from sigurd_christensen on Jan 27 at 5:59 AM Hi, I have done similar migrations in a steps 1. Download data regarding the current placement of materials (table LQUA) to Excel 2. Move all materials to storage type '998' -BIN 'AUFNAHME' using LT10 (mvt. type w/auto confirm, no print) 3. Create 2 WM-mvt.types (copy of 311/312, w/auto-conf. , no print) and assign to WM ref. mvt type 311/312. 4. WM mvt. copied from '312' (e.g. '912') should have fixed destination '998 AUFNAHME' 5. Move all materials from 'old wh' plant/storage location to 'new wh' plant/storage location using LSMW (standard object 0110 or recording of e.g. MB11) 6. All materials will now be moved from 998 in the old wh to 998 in the new wh. 7. Move all materials from '998 AUFNAHME' to actual storage types/BINs using LSMW (standard object 0220 or recording of LT01) , data file = LQUA data in excel This operation can be done in fewer steps, however eventual issues and errors are easier to deal with when simplifying the individual steps at least according to my experience. The advantage is that you do not have to be a programmer and use BAPI's, etc. BR Sigurd

The Isles/Bins in each building are unique and the system does not currently recognize them as separate locations. We now want to create a separate DC for one of the locations. The Isles/Bins/etc. will not change...just a new location number. Has anyone ever done a mass move of product from one location to another...or have suggestions on the best way to do so? | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
