Reply from JG-SAPHR on Jan 10 at 11:21 PM TC 1 means that the IT needs to exist always. This applies as a standard to IT 0, 1, 2; usually also for 6, 7, 8, etc. These infotypes will always have end date of 31/12/9999 for the last record. These last records should not be deleted. With termination, the existing infotype record is delimited on the term'n date. In other words, the existing record is changed with an end date = last day in service; a new record is copy/created with start date = last day in service date plus 1, and end date = the old record's end date. The new IT 0 will have status = inactive, and reason = term'n reason, etc. New IT 1 will have usually pos of 9's. The pers. action also will come up with a request to the user to delimit the existing infotype records. All these are based on the config for the term'n action (see per.action config steps in IMG).
