Since you used one maintenance plan with 2 maintenance items you have this issue.
Please create 2 separate plans for pump and motor where ever you have such scenario. You wanted to have sync between pump and motor PM orders, schedule them forsamedate. By standard config at maintenance strategy you can't achieve.

I have a situation, we perform Preventive Maintenance on pumps and motors as per the below scenario,
Single maintenance Plan say MP1 linked to 2 maintenance items Pump = MIPump and Motor = MIMotor
Tasklist for Pump = TLPump with 3 opertaions
010 --> 3 monthly PM on pump- seperate STD text= 6MPUMP
020 --> 1Yearly Pm on Pump STD text = 1YPump
030 --> 3Yearly PM on pump Std text = 3YPump
Similarly for pump
010 --> Yearly PM on motor std text = 1YMOT
020 --> 2 yearly PM on motor std text = 2YMOT
when we schedule the PM Plans
3 monthly PM there no problem
When we are due for 1 Yearly PM, our desire is to get one work order each maintenance item with one operation 02 for pump and 010 for motor , but for pump we get 3 monthly ( operation no.010) also
when we try to suppress lower frequency , then when are are due to 2 years we get only motor PM , pump PM get suppressed even though it is different maintenance item
Please advise how can we suppress lower frequency in the operation task alone so that in the above example we are due to 2 years , we should get 2 work orders one for pump with operation # 020 and another for motor with only one operation no 020
please give SAP configuration steps with snaps shot if possible
