Is this issue specific to the user's PC? I assume you had him reboot (at least once)? Can you get the user to logon to another PC and replicate the same issue?
What patch level on the GUI? One has to keep up with the SAP GUI patches, as MS continually changes the o/s with security patches.

Subject: Exporting to Excel from SAP Working Intermittently
Using SAP 6.0 GUI 730. Exporting data from SAP into excel is displaying blank screen. When clicking the Export button in say IW28 or IW38 we get a blank excel spreadsheet. We have had this in the past and all we did was change the macro setting in excel and it work. This time that is not working. The user I worked with today gets this intermittently.
