Reply from sigurd_christensen on Dec 22 at 4:17 AM Hello, I have done such an operation several times and I prefer to split up the operation into 2 processes. Both are done with a LSMW. Step 1 is the stor.loc. to stor.loc. movement, the LSMW is created for 'Standard Batch/ Direct Input' (SAP standard Object 110) and it is using IM mvt. 311. However I create a special WM mvt type e.g. '912' as a copy of 312 (the standard WM mvt.type linked to 311 in the IM-WM interface for this flow) but with destination Storage type '998' and BIN 'AUFNAHME' , no print and automated Transfer Order confirmation. This is then temporarily entered into the interface instead of '312' and the entry is set up to automatic creation of Transfer requirement and online creation of Transfer Order. The result is that all materials are transferred into the warehouse, into the wanted storage location and into storage type 998 'AUFNAHME' , all TO's confirmed. Step 2 is the 'internal' WM movement from 998 to the final storage type/BIN. Another LSMW is created for 'Standard Batch/ Direct Input' (SAP standard Object 220) and this one is used for transferring the materials from 998 to the final destination stor.tp./BIN. Normally the materials were counted and moved physically at this point and the data (material number/qty./destination BIN) stored in an excel file. Now another special WM mvt. type (e.g. '998') is copied from mvt. '999' , with fixed source 998 'AUFNAHME' and no print/automated TO confirmation. This new WM mvt.type is used in the LSMW and the file data is used for getting mat.no. , quantities and destination BIN. The materials/stock will now be distributed into the correct/ actual BINs. The advantage of using '998' as an intermediate storage type? It is set up to be allowed for clearing, meaning that differences found after all physical counted/moved materials are registred in the WM warehouse can simply be cleared directly in storage type 998. I prefer this process to the alternative, creating actual putaway TO's for all materials because this will be more time consuming and it will not give any better result. BR Sigurd

I have to transfer from a storage type & storage bin to another also. i am using LSMW Business object BUS2017 Method CREATEFROMDATA Message type MBGMCR Basic type MBGMCR03 I can move stocks in mm, but in wm all stocks are transferred to 922 storage type. in LSMW mapping i give X for NO_PST_CHGNT and NO_TRANSFER_REQ. But I can't transfer to correct storage type. Where do I need to write the supplying storage type and recipient storage type? What is the STGE_TYPE, STGE_TYPE_ST and STGE_TYPE_PC fields meaning in mapping? Thanks. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
