Reply from Ron Roberts on Dec 16 at 2:48 PM One more bit of information about MM periods...there can be AT MOST only two periods open in MM. When you see a message like the one you received that indicates that it is only possible to post in two periods, that is a pretty good indicator that it is geared to the MM periods.

i have created purchase order dt.28.12.2013. now i want to create goods receipt dated 30.12.2013. i unable to complete this transaction because of above error. pls suggest me the proceedure to over come this error.
