Reply from LCC352 on Dec 27 at 9:03 AM Yes - an LSMW or ABAP can always be done, but I believe the question is more related to whether or not this functionality is in an SAP transaction. I think the answer to that is "no".
If we think about it, not all accounts in the CoA are required to belong in every company. That's why the process is by individual choice, not by mass update. If every account is needed for the first company, by all means, solve it however you can, including the suggestions related to programming.
However understand that even with an ABAP or LSMW, the choosing of the accounts and all relevant information for the screens needs to be done and handed to a programmer for upload. Sometimes that process is more cumbersome than doing it manually.
