The environment I am in is process order based. I have a similar need for a future project. My initial thoughts on addressing this is by creating multiple resources - example - Milling machine 1, milling machine 2, ... When each order is processed, the production worker will revise the resource in the process order from a dummy milling machine resource to the actual milling machine. After each use, the machine needs to be cleaned and does not necessarily go back to the same room. While cleaning, the cutting heads may be serviced or replaced. I was thinking of creating a process order for cleaning for tracking the sub-components so we can track how often the blades were used prior to sharpening. Interested to hear other options on addressing your request. Eric.

Hi LE Experts, I have a question regarding asset procurement. Can an asset be a stock item as well? If I have a Capital Tool and want to manage this "asset" through stock issues and possibly with equipment records as well can I do this? Thanks in advance. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
