We are getting a strange problem when ever we receive new parts for inspection. Many a times some new parts are created and procured because of design changes. Since we have made it mandatory to route all parts thru quality inspection, in most of the cases QA prepares inspection plan after GR is done. In most of the cases we are getting the error message "Characteristic results cannot posted". In few cases we have resolved this by changing inspection plan creation date to before GR date. But in most of the cases we continue to get this error. However, if go directly to UD, the document gets posted. But I understand this is not the right approach.
Any suggestion/solution to over come this?
