Why reinvent the wheel when there are very cost effective solutions available like iomotion's PDC Gateway. It can connect via Kronos' API to it's software products or even directly to Kronos clocks. It has built in IDOC inbound and outbound handling via ALE as well as BAPI posting of CATS and PP/PM confirmations.
