You will face the same issue if the user try to edit infotype 2001 running PA30 transaction. Just do it and after execute SU53 transaction to analize authorization profile errors for this user. Send to a basis specialist to fix this errors.

Dear Expert,
I have got an issue where only one user across the business, gets the error message when trying to view payslips for July and August in ESS portal.
But can view all other payslips.
Error message:(500 SAP Internal Server Error ERROR: Infotype 2001 not read due to lack of authorization (termination ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE)
Please advise.
