Question from nash.tejani on Sep 22 at 2:29 PM How do you handle userids when external candidates become internal and vice versa while maintaining the same candidate profile. We are currently on ECC6 and have implemented SAP E-Recruitment ver 6 EHP6 as a stand alone. We are using ALE (distributed model) to replicate employee master data and organizational data from SAP HR (ECC 6) to SAP eRec. We are NOT distributing IT0105 (subtype 0001, 0010) because not all employees have an SAP userid and not all employees have a corporate email address. When an external candidate registers, he can choose his own userid and password to log in. For e.g. SMITHJA. When he is hired and we run PFAL the candidate switches to 'internal' and the user ID becomes EEXXXXXXXX, where XXXXXXXX is the pers#. When terminated the candidate becomes external. What userid should now be used? These different IDs causes confusion for users when logging in. We are interested in hearing how other companies handle this?
