It's a bit more complicated than this though.
The quotation's item category is ZAGN. Item category determination for copying from a ZGPQ quotation to a ZGPS order says that a straight copy from the quote to an order should result in a ZTAN item category in the order. The copy control for this movement has been set up as stated by Shaunak.
BUT, since we are using APO, ZTAN gets replaced by item category ZAPA in the order.
ZAPA doesn't carry any pricing and therefore the pricing that has already been copied to ZTAN from the quotation gets lost.
So when the sub-item with item category ZLES is created, new pricing has to be carried out.
Unfortunately, we can't create a copy control for ZAGN to ZLES with the above settings, because ZLES isn't immediately determined as the item category, thanks to APO

We are trying to create a Sales Document from a Quotation. The Quotation has a main line with a Discount Condition on it.
When the Sales Order is created, we want copy control to copy the discount from the Quotations' main line to the Sales Orders schedule lines.
Then rules-based ATP function replaces ZTAN with ZAPA, and creates sub-item with category ZLES.
ZTAN has pricing indicator TVAP-PRSFD = 'X' (ie. the system automatically carries out pricing at item level), but ZAPA has
TVAP-PRSFD blank (ie, Pricing is not carried out on the ZAPA item)
Since ZTAN and ZAPA have different TVAP-PRSFD, the system runs new pricing with type 'B – Redetermine pricing', losing the manual condition ZGDV.
We however have implemented the exit userexit_new_pricing_vbap to overcome this.
But now the main item on the Sales Order contains the discount, but none of the schedule lines do.
We are not sure where the logic needs to be put to ensure that the pricing is copied from the original ZTAN directly to the ZLES item. |
