If you can't use SE16 (or SE16N) to look directly at the MAPL table to find the routings that match your Group numbers, then I think you'll need an SAP Query. If you've done SAP queries before, setting up a query that looks at only one table (MAPL) shouldn't be too hard, but getting through the SAP Query learning curve the first time can be a challenge.
What's your business need here? It's a little unusual for a user to have a set of Group Numbers that are known, but not the materials. It's usually the other way around.
