There is an SAP system status CLSD (Closed) that is set by using transacton CO02 and following menu path Functions > Restrict processing > Close. This status is intended to be set after you have settled the order (financial closure). You can also mass-Close orders using transaction COHV. Are you referring to a closed order as one that has been financially settled? Some people use the term "closed" when an order is fully confirmed (system status CNF). All the work has been done, but not all of the post-confirmation financial obligations have been performed. Depending on how you do your financials, you may never need to close (set status CLSD) an order. Is it possible you really need to look for confirmed orders (CNF) using the COOIS transaction. If so, you can use the Actual Finish Date range on the COOIS initial screen. Depending on how many production orders you have, response time can be pretty poor if you look for all orders with a System Status = CNF and a Finish Date range. Try to limit your search by Plant, Order Type, etc. Carl

I have tried COOIS but it does not distinguish between closed and released.
