1. Was the smtp relay working propely earlier for Non-production system?

2. Is smtp host and port number same for both prod and non-prod?

Due to a technical fault, the system could not set up a connection to destination host.salonyservers.com: 0.

Why port number appear as 0 here? Generally 25 port is used for smtp.

May be your non-prod servers are not configured in smtp host to send emails. You might need to get in touch with owner of smtp host (messagin team) to check.

Subject: SMTP Error - Message Cannot Be Transferred to Node SMTP Due to Connection Error (Final) Message No. XS816

Dear All,
I have getting strange error SMTP in email and message in my Quality, Development and Solman servers. The Production System located to other side and other Servers are located in different side. In Production system email and message workflow working properly. The setting of SCOT in same of all server(Dev-Qa-Solman) as per Production System. I have reading so much notes but not succeed. Why the same setting is working in Production side and not in others. Please guide me.
The error is getting as per below:
"Message cannot be transferred to node SMTP due to connection error (final)
Message no. XS816
Diagnosis
Due to a technical fault, the system could not set up a connection to destination host.salonyservers.com: 0. Therefore, the message could not be transferred to node SMTP.
System Response
The system was unable to transfer the message.
Additional information of the node used (in the system language of the node):

Procedure
Check the connection from the SAP system to node SMTP. Perhaps the node is not assigned to the correct destination. If so, correct this in Customizing.
In production operation, it is advisable to reroute provisionally to another node.
You should therefore notify your system administrator."

Thanks & Regards,
Satish
