Reply from LCC352 on Sep 28 at 2:47 PM Hello, Asad. Please look at the following SAP link : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/9 5/3d5540b8cdcd01e10000000a155106/content.htm It speaks to using SM56, but only after the incident occurs. It does explain how the buffer for numbering works, as well as citing the table, NRIV, which contains the number ranges. If you want to pre-empt this occurrence, you can: - open the number range so that it would be very difficult to run out - the number ranges run from zero to 9,999,999,999. Some ranges are by document type, others by module, some by year, etc. - develop an ABAP report against table NRIV that examines the differences in the ranges and sends an email to Basis or whoever is in charge of monitoring whenever the number range falls within some preset tolerance. Few days ago we faced a problem that plan order not generating in SAP /n/afs/md02. We resolved the issue by increasing the Number range interval PLAF. It goes finished. Now I have one query that is there any tool/program/tcode to monitor all the number ranges that which are going to be exhausted ? So that we can take action before facing any problem? Thanks Asad | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
