Reply from David Slocum on Sep 2 at 8:11 AM You will need to generate only one CSR file. The certificate that is about to expire would have been created only in one place, and that is the place where you need to generate the CSR. How you do this depends on the particular system. If it is an ABAP system, then you can use the STRUST transaction. If it is a Java system, then Visual Admin or NetWeaver Administrator (depending on your release) can be used to generate the file. If it is for the web dispatcher itself, then use the sapgenpse command at the OS level to generate the CSR file. You can find useful information on Marketplace or on SCN. Thanks, Dave

In that, we have different instances running . Certificate is about to expire next week and we have been asked to provide CSR file, so that the team will help renew the same. I have following questions. 1) We have 4 instances running in that SAP Web dispatcher box, do we need to generate CSR file for each and every instance (or) One CSR is enough for whole box. 2) What is the command to generate this CSR from OS level (AIX in our case). Thanks to all, Jayachandra | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
