Reply from jc_plummer on Aug 4 at 10:52 PM The fields on the operations tab of the order will remain grayed-out. On the objects tab, assign the object to the operation. Once assigned, it will appear on the operations tab. To test, have at least one operation and a couple of objects (equipment for functional locations.) Look for the 'assign' button at the bottom to make the assignment.

I have done below configuration.
Configuration Path: Plant Maintenance and Customer Service - Maintenance and Service Processing ? Maintenance and Service Orders - Functional and Settings for Order Types - Define Notification and Order Integration:
Choose Order Type then "Assignment of Operations to All Object list entries Active" this will activate previous mentioned functionality
but still in PM order equipment & functional field are getting greyed out. Please do help asap.
