I think you set configuration for switch plogi like that, generally if run the promotion / position change action old position will be same only it wont change to default position.
Can you state what procedure you are doing for new position assignment for the employee?

Just want to seek assistance. When we are assigning or updating positions of our employees, his previous position is automatically set to 99999999 (Default Position) which means history of his employment is now unknown.
