To answer to your query
Yes, you can change the cost center through AS02. What you have to do is go
to AS02 time dependent data, Click on the More intervals and then click on
add interval. Select the date from when the cost center should be changed.
The impact is when depreciation posted for the asset, system will check the
date of the cost center validity. If the depreciation posted on the
previous period and the valid cost center was the previous then the value
would be posted to the previous cost center.
For the new periods, the value would be posted to the new cost center.
This would impact on only CO- cost center reports and not on FI side.
