Reply from jack mays on Jul 25 at 1:02 PM It will depend if you want to clearly label your RFC connections with the COMM ID's I liked to use that but a recent tip from SAP was that SYSTEM was better. You use these ID's for BATCH and RFC connections. Neither ID are able to be logged in with and should be controlled by your Basis group usually, Does that help clarify? You can create roles specific for the ID's but it is really difficult to troubleshoot these ID's once you have an issue and these will generally get lost in the sands of time as your system matures. Be careful with these and like stated the group that usually takes ownership would be basis.
